Art with a Difference

2007 Fresh start Fresh art.

So with the vision again from a friend across the pond in mind and the daily reading of my "White Bison" its a new year and its time for Fresh art and a Fresh Start.

Once Again to quote KILFORD(Trust me the guy is great)

So, 2007.  It's my exhibition year for  "It's only rock n roll (and I paint it)".   It's going to be the year of FABSTRACT, for those of you that are not part of this yet, it is about you and the painting being free, freedom of colour and its irreverent use.   For the exhibition, there is still a shit load of work to do; it does feel sometimes like a massive task ahead of me.  However, try and picture this…..I'm standing in front of the entire task, its winter, freezing cold but the brightness of the sun is warming. I'm wearing a long fitted grey coat, black skinny jeans, black and white brogue shoes customised with additional swarovski crystal of course, a purple stripy silk duchamp neck scarf, crystal necklaces and pink mock rosary beads, fuck off huge mirror sunglasses with one hand in my pocket keeping warm, the other holding a cigarette.  As I raise the cigarette up to my mouth my head is tilted, the wind is blowing through my now long shoulder length hair which feels like the motivational and maternal strokes of all the angels with me.  As I pull on the cigarette my smile broadens, I can see the task look at me,  now slightly concerned at my extended smile, it's concerned because it knows that I am thinking – I'm going to kick your fucking ass…and it knows deep down I am right.

Yeah, pad them panties, cuz here I come. I got my boots on and they are not only for walking, but made for some serious kicking also. To quote BTO "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet"
2007 Rock them Flames
Change da glass into
a world of funkin
Glass.

Newer art to show

Monet is a piece that took a great deal of time to complete.
It has fused glass, blown glass, dicro glass, copper plate, brass wire
and multiple layers of stained glass with various chunks of glass.
It was an engineering night mare at times, but I got it done.

The picture does not do the finished piece justice, only the actual piece can show
the levels of beauty it has to give.

Ahhhh, this is a repair to a piece of fused glass that had/has a politcal theme to it.
I gave it my own twist also.
I has to do with the present administration, want to know what it all means, ask!!!

This piece has a lot of fused glass, flamework beads, chunks of glass and multiple layers of glass.

The Passion of the Cross

What do you call a movie that audiences flocked to and you already know the ending?

What do you call a piece of glass that looked like a bloodie nail?

What do you call a religious movement that a peace loving man started, that today can be looked upon as both good and evil? What do you call a piece of art that one day you do because you know after 4 year's of taking Latin how brutal the Roman's really were and you wanted to show it all via the "Cross"?

Look at my piece and let me ask you this, what do you really know about history and do you really understand what you read?  Take time to look at my piece, what do you think everything in it means?

Pheonix, rise from the ashes of my past life.

The Pheonix stained glass piece.  I have had to rise from the ashes of my prior life and start new again.  I got the insperation for this driving down the road one day(Rt23) on my way to see family.
I also did a bead that is a pheonix.
